Update:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
What a way to wake up. Turns out my neighbor was doing some stupid art project which involved bleaching driftwood and hosing it off. Better do it next to this guy’s car right?
So now I have bleach everywhere on the back and side of my car, including the glass and vinyl stripes.
What should I do? (Other than clean off ASAP, which I’ve done).
Should my response be nuclear or more restrained? It has already stripped the wax and seems it may have bleached the stripe.
Thanks for your time.

I don’t have any suggestions that don’t involve retaliation, sorry

Sue him for damages, or ask him for payment. Don’t let him step on you. Other than that I really can’t help

Payment will occur, that’s for certain. I’m an adjuster by trade so it isn’t an issue.
It just sucks, because money can’t fix how sad I am right now about my car, which, even though it’s only a Fiesta ST, I love.

Do what you can. If he’s dumb enough to use harsh chemicals around paint he’s obviously gonna give you a hard time.

I would start nice, see what happens, if no action on their part in 1-2 days file an insurance claim. Depending on the damage you could be looking at a repaint and a bunch of new trim. Bleach is not kind.

Yeah. That and all the residue from any evaporated bleach or chemicals left on there. At this point you can try to save the clear coat.
